Redoneta™ is a contemporary geometric sans serif family of 6 weights with its matching italics. Zuume Rough is a textured, bold, condensed sans serif display font family. A sister to Zuume, this version features a rough printed texture for a more natural and raw look. “Istanbul Type” has a modern streak which is the result of a harmonization of width and height especially in the lowercase letters to support legibility.

“Istanbul City” has the modernity of the west and the orientalist texture of the east as the city that unites the Asian and European continents. “Istanbul Type” also includes these features. It is a unique character that reflects the spirit of “Istanbul City”. Many letter alternatives prepared with care have been created for all letters. You can make dozens of combinations from a word using these alternative letters.

Calligraphic font inspired by uncial and gothic cursive scripts. Readable yet very Celtic, medieval, Viking kind of look. Good for beer, whiskey, Scotland / Ireland / Norway / Sweden related products, as well as magic or gaming niches. Basic Latin and Scandinavian character sets are supported. There are also alternatives for some letters

The Quarantinus font was created during the 2020 covid 19 lock-down. Tranquility being all around, the JOEBOB graphics studio almost felt like a monastery, and as a result my style of writing and my choice of pen had to fit. All this writing was turned into an authentic handwritten script font with over 150 ligatures, which make it look very credible and spontaneous.

The font is especially suitable for personalized ‘handwritten’ notes, cards and messages. It can be used on T-shirts and on shop-windows. It has an ‘instant logo’ quality, it can be used for tattoo-designs and it screams home-made everything. And in case you are a writer you now have an option to print your work in a way that seems as if you wrote it yourself.

Please note that even though the font comes with a complete set of Western characters, accents and special signs, the Cyrillic and Greek characters that are in the font do not make a complete set.

A 1916 book entitled “Lettering” by Thomas Woods Stevens features a number of hand lettered alphabets; some plain, others unique.  One of the more novel examples was designed by Harry Lawrence Gage and featured letters and numbers with a crude, wavy style described in the book as “adapted to wood block and linoleum cutting”.

To keep the design as close to the original as possible, the image from the book page was auto-traced, with each character given just enough of a clean-up as to retain its own quirkiness while smoothing out any jagged lines and fixing some curves. 

From there, other necessary characters were created for the digital font, and the end result is Tenement JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.
